Our fall season record was 6-1-1.
Our playoff record we beat Canton Celtic Green in quarterfinals,
beat Force FC White in semifinals and
then defeated Novi Jaguars Black for the Championship!

The 98 Girls Blue traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the 2009 FC Pride Cup. They played in the U13 division in order to play 11v11. Their bracket was setup in round robin format with the winner and 2nd place being determined by points. The girls had 3 wins and 1 tie. They finished second after the tie-breaker rules determined that the Warrior Classics from Dayton, Ohio had a better goal differential.

U11 Girls Blue are the 2009 Midland Fusion Invitational U11 Girls Champions!

The girls played 2 overtime periods in the championship game then wininng it all with sudden death PK's

The U10 Boys Blue were champions in the Fusion Invitational Tournament Aug28-30, 2009 in Midland, MI

Scores -beat Dexter 9-1, Midland 8-0, Michigan Chill 8-1, Finals 5-4 against the Chill.

The third tournament was the charm this season for the Waza 99 Girls Blue team at the Vardar Elite Cup. The girls went 3-1 to win the championship.

Their only loss was to the Michigan Tiger which they met again in the championship game. It was a shoot out final when the championship game ended OT still tied 1-1. After the shootout the score was 5-4 for the win.

Waza 97 Girls Blue U13 team "played up" in the Michigan Rush Kick-Off Classic Tournament (U14 Girls White Division) and beat all comers en-route to another tournament championship! They defeated TSC Attack 5-0, Michigan Rush Northville Swoosh 5 - 0, and Michigan Rush Central twice: 4 - 2, and 2 - 0.

 

Waza 97 Girls Blue team won the Hamburg Tournament August 8 - 9, 2009 by defeating the Michigan Gators in the final 4 - 2.  They also defeated Michigan Express 2 - 1, and tied Waza 97 Girls Royal 0 - 0, and defeated the Athletic Jaier Girls U13 team 1 - 0 en-route to the finals.


 

Waza U12 Boys Blue won the Hamburg Invitational U12 Division by going undefeated, winning four games by a combined score of 14-4. After a tough 2-1 win over Waza East, the boys followed with a 2-0 win over the Michigan Express, 5-1 win over host Hamburg United, and ending with a 5-2 win over Down River Rush.  Congratulations on a job well done!

Congratulations to the Waza FC 99 Girls Green team for winning the U11 Girls Silver division at the Hamburg Invitational Tournament. They won by posting shutouts against both of their bracket teams and then going on to defeat the undefeated Wayne Westland Lightning in the finals by a score of 3-1.
